Terms of Service for TRC Services Pty Ltd

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing https://trcservices.co.za/ or engaging TRC Services Pty Ltd (“the Company”) for electrical appliance repairs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Scope of Service

TRC Services Pty Ltd provides diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services for electrical appliances. While we strive for excellence, a successful repair is dependent on the availability of parts and the extent of the appliance’s pre-existing condition.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for a period of 7 days from the date of issue.
  • Quotes are based on the information provided by the client and an initial physical inspection. Should further issues be discovered during the repair process, a revised quote will be submitted for approval.
  • A call-out fee is applicable for all site visits, regardless of whether the repair is proceeded with or possible.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We reserve the right to retain any appliance or parts until full payment has been received.
  • Late payments may incur interest charges at the maximum rate permitted by South African law.

5. Parts and Warranties

  • Parts installed by TRC Services Pty Ltd carry the specific manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Our workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 3 months from the date of service, strictly covering the specific repair performed. This warranty is voided if the appliance is tampered with by a third party or subjected to power surges/misuse.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRC Services Pty Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to appliances.
  • Loss of use, data, or spoiled food items resulting from appliance failure.
  • Damages caused by power surges, load shedding, or unstable electrical infrastructure.
  • Incidental or consequential damages arising from the service provided.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure that the appliance is accessible and that the environment is safe for our technicians. Any hazards must be disclosed prior to the commencement of work.

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or for any appliance if we deem the working conditions unsafe or the repair technically unfeasible.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
